
Board of Directors (Guatemala)
The Board of Directors in Guatemala oversees all activities in the the Guatemala office and is tasked with deciding the strategic direction of the organization and managing the overall financial health of HANDS Guatemala. The Board of Directors also make up the first core group and people who have worked tirelessly and contributed immensly to the formation of HANDS, and the different Volunteering projects that have come out of Guatemala.

Maria Cristina Bosch
|
Maria graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a History and Sociology degree. She was the President of Organización Latinoamericana – OLA at Notre Dame, which promotes cultural diversity in Latin America . In Guatemala she works on an agricultural project in Nicaragua covering all issues related to sociology, human resources and legal topics. |

Stephanie Fairhurst |
Stephanie graduatedwith an Anthropology degree from the University of Notre Dame. She has several years of experience working in development-related fields such as housing, health and preventive medicine, both in Guatemala and the United States. Stephanie is now attending medical school in Guatemala. |

Andres Diaz |
Andres is currently pursuing a major in Economics with a minor in Finance at the University Francisco Marroquin in Guatemala. Andres has been involved with service for the last years, when he presided the Community Service Committee at Colegio Interamericano and participated with HANDS, both as a volunteer and a staff member. Besides acting as a Board Member, Andres also provides advising for HANDS in accounting-related issues. |

Jose Andrés Saenz |
Jose Andrés Saenz obtained his B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from Universidad Francisco Marroquin. Over the past years he has worked in the corporate division of a Food Industry Company, contributing to society through the implementation of socially responsible business practices. As part of his community involvement initiative, he is currently developing a low cost product aimed at fighting malnutrition in Guatemala. |

Mariana Diaz |
Mariana earned a Bachelor degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame. Mariana has been engaged with social service programs in the United States, Brazil and Guatemala since her undergraduate years, both as a volunteer and as a program coordinator. Mariana has worked in Citigroup in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Guatemala City, Guatemala in Risk Management and Treasury departments. |

Javier Palomo Rodríguez |
Javier is currently the Business Development Manager at a major agricultural company in Guatemala, Javier has ample experience in developing new projects and relationships. During this time, he has been engaged in social service projects throughout Guatemala and Panama. Javier graduated from University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering |

Francis Navas
|
Francis is currently pursuing her degree in Economics with a minor in Finances and a major in Bussiness Administration with a minor in marketing at the University Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala. She has worked in United Nations Organization, at the Young Sector in Guatemala, where she was in charge of organizing the activities to promote the Institution. Francis has done volunteer work in association with other Guatemalan institutions, such as GuateSana and The National Unity of Pediatric Oncology (UNOP). |
